Pastor Earl L. Savage, Sr.

             Pastor Earl L. Savage, Sr. is a man of God who has devoted his life to His service.  He is currently the co-founder and Pastor of Walk by Faith Ministries located in Ocoee, Florida.  He is carrying the mantle for the vision to spread the Gospel to the world, one step at a time.  He was formerly ordained as a minister in The Life Center Church in Eatonville, during which time he served in a leadership role in the Men of Life Ministry.  He has ministered over the past twenty years in various leadership capacities in the body of Christ.  In his prior ministry training, he served as Youth Ministry Leader, School of The Bible Teacher of middle and high school students, and Vacation Bible School Leader, all a part of the Biblical Studies Institute of The Life Center Church.

             Pastor Savage also served in many other ministries in prior service through Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he was ordained as a Deacon in 1993.  Subsequent to his ordination, Pastor Savage developed and led the Deacons Family Ministry for more than 6 years, and ministered with prayer and exhortations to homebound members on Sunday afternoons and evenings.  He was Sunday School Superintendent for 4 years, during which time many educational enhancements were made for attendees of all ages.  Pastor Savage was also a leader in the Education Ministry, and served as Vacation Bible School Coordinator and Teacher along with his wife, Sharon for many years.  He was the church’s Bible School Teacher giving weekly exhortations and teaching the engrafted Word of God for several years as well.

             Additionally, in prior years, Pastor Savage’s ministry outreach has extended to nursing homes, homeless shelters, runaway children’s shelters and residential facilities, and many other youth programs and facilities throughout Orange County.  He also served in ministry in the New Central Baptist Association as the Finance Secretary for the Association, and a Youth Ministry Teacher of middle and high school boys.

 In 2007, response to Jesus’ Great Commission found in the Gospel of Mark, chapter 16, to go into all the world to preach the Gospel, Pastor Savage along with his wife stepped out of the walls of the traditional church to start Walk By Faith Ministries, Incorporated.  The ministry has begun the commission by starting in Africa in 2007, where God used him to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ in churches, and open-air crusades, reaching several thousand people. Pastor Savage has also preached and ministered locally at Lake Eola Park, and in community centers, throughout Orlando and in Arkansas. 

             Pastor Savage grew up in rural Arkansas in Marianna, and attended the local schools there, having graduated from Lee County High School.  He subsequently attended the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff Campus and graduated with a degree in Electronics.

 Pastor Savage left full-time employment with Lockheed Martin Corporation in 2008 to answer the call of God in full-time ministry as the Pastor of Walk by Faith Ministries.  During his employment as an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Manager in the Missiles and Fire Control Company, he received numerous awards and recognitions.  Pastor Savage received the highest award that Lockheed Martin Corporation gives worldwide, its NOVA Award for Exceptional Service, in 2001. That year he, along with his wife, Sharon was recognized for exceptional service to the local community.  Both Earl and Sharon have been working with youth in Central Florida and throughout the state of Florida for many years.

             Pastor Earl is a native of Marianna, Arkansas.  He is married to Sharon Johnson Savage, and is the father of one daughter and two sons.  He enjoys hunting, sport fishing, boating, water skiing, basketball, football, golf, hiking (mountains), and snorkeling. Pastor Savage also enjoys traveling throughout the world, especially those trips that provide new adventures.

Minister Sharon Johnson Savage

 Minister Savage is an ordained minister of The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and is very active in the United States and other countries in her ministry.   Sharon gave her life to Christ at the age of 4, and began preaching and teaching in her childhood church at the age of 12.  She is a dynamic and powerful minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ whose preaching, teaching, and healing ministry has reached thousands of people of many races and cultures in America and Africa.  Minister Savage, a called Prophet of God, is used mightily by God, and sees many signs, wonders, and miracles in the lives of people she ministers to.  The prophecies given by God through this anointed vessel are powerful, sure, and without compromise. Because of her prophetic mantle and powerful anointing to teach leadership, she is currently sought after in other countries on various continents throughout the world, including Norway, Korea, New Zealand, Kenya, East Africa, and England. Since January 2007, she has preached to more than 35,000 people in Africa alone, seeing more than 4,000 people giving their lives to Christ, and thousands of people healed.

She has served in various capacities of ministry for more than 20 years in and outside of the traditional church setting.  In 1996 Sharon co-founded, and co-directed a church affiliated inner city program in Orlando called Positive Life Choices, which provided spiritual and academic growth opportunities for more than 100 inner-city children.  In 1999, Positive Life Choices received a Children Must Count Award from Orange County because of the positive impact on the lives of the children in the program.  In 2000 she co-founded and co-directed another church-affiliated youth program for more than 250 children in Eatonville and surrounding areas.  For this program, Excellence in Everything, Sharon and her husband, Pastor Earl Savage, were given Lockheed Martin’s NOVA Award, the most prestigious award given worldwide by the corporation. She also previously ministered in homeless shelters, women’s halfway houses, children’s residential facilities, nursing homes, and numerous other places for more than 20 years.  In 2008, she and Earl also co-founded Hope! International, a worldwide ministry formed with pastors from Africa with world-wide affiliations that will assist in meeting the needs of orphans and other needy children in Africa and throughout the world.

As co-founder of Walk by Faith Ministries, along with Pastor Earl Savage, Sharon helps carry the mantle for the vision to spread the Gospel to the world, one step at a time.

Sharon loves international and domestic travel, and especially those trips that provide adventure.  She loves hiking (mountains), snorkeling, exploring historical sites throughout the world, and cruising.  In her spare time, Sharon writes books, short stories, plays, and loves to read.  Her writings, which she began as a small child, have expanded more than 3 decades.  She has written and directed eight plays during the last thirteen years, and has authored one book with a publication date scheduled for July 2008 by a worldwide major publishing company.  Her book, Leading Christian Disciples in a Challenging World will be available in more than 25,000 bookstores worldwide.  She is a pacesetter and forerunner in many areas of her life, having achieved many “firsts” in her family, in school while growing up, at work, in ministry, the community, the state, and throughout the world.

She is married to Pastor Earl Savage of Walk by Faith Ministries and is the mother of two sons and one daughter.  Sharon resides in Windermere, Florida.
